Insomnia can be defined as a condition in which an individual is unable to fall asleep or stay asleep. An individual who suffers from insomnia is called an insomniac. Generally, the insomniac will feel tired, rundown and lethargic despite the number of hours of sleep they may attain.

Possible Side Effects

As with most prescription medications there are potential side-effects. When considering the possibility of bonding Seroquel and insomnia treatments together to alleviate symptoms that cause insomnia it is important to consider the possibility of serious side effects.

Some of those side effects in taking Seroquel may include fever, excessive thirst, urination and hunger, headaches, suicidal thoughts, numbness in the muscles and visual problems.
