Insomnia is a common problem, so medications have been developed to help those people. One of the most common medicines is Trazodone. There are some Trazodone for insomnia side effects that you should know about before taking this medication though. These include:

Drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, headaches and dry mouth are very common Trazodone for insomnia side effects.
Fatigue, lethargy, psychomotor retardation, lightheadedness, dizziness, difficulty in concentration and confusion can be behavioral side effects of this medication.

Sometimes men can suffer from the occurrence of priapism. This is the persistent, usually painful erection of the penis that is not related to sexual arousal. As with any other medication, there are some people who are going to be allergic to Trazodone. Sometimes this medication can even be toxic to these people. Some of the other symptoms of this medication include aching joints and muscles, a peculiar taste, hypersalivation, chest pain, and eyes that are red, tired and itchy.
